How can we keep one twin's cries from waking our sleeping twin?

In brief: Crying baby

Most babies seem to sleep through sounds they have heard before.
I would check out some reputable web sites for parents of multiples for suggestions. If there is not enough room to separate them, i would try to keep them on the same schedule.

In brief: Depends

The obvious answer is to place the twins in separate rooms and use a electronic monitor to listen for the cries for both.
If that is not feasible, you may just have to deal with it. I would talk to a pediatrician.
