In brief: Maybe perimenopause

Many women will see changes in their monthly cycle as they reach an older reproductive age.
Different cycle legnth as well as bleeding amount changes are common. Some are normal aging changes, others may be due to treatable conditions. See your ob/gyn to discuss your cycles and what you can do for them.

Most common are: fibroid uterus, endometrial polips, thyroid disorders after this more rarely but more serious conditions are: endometrial cancer, cervical cancer, vaginal cancer.Either way appt with a ob/gyn is the best course of action.
