What is bilateral hillar peribronchial thickening and hillar nodes in lungs. Do they have any correlation and what is there treatment?

Bronchial thickening. Is from chronic inflammation of your bronchial tubes from bronchitis - excessive secretions due to infection, allergens, exposure to pollutants, smoking etc. The hilar lymph nodes are due to the bronchitis and other lung conditions such as infection/pneumonia, tuberculosis, autoimmune conditions, etc. We treat the underlying condition and the symptoms as well. Take care !
The hilar. Area is in the middle of the lungs near the heart. This is saying the large airways in this area have thickening, and the lymph nodes in the region are enlarged. An inflammatory condition could lead to the airway change, and the nodes could be part of the body's response to the inflammation.
