1 doctor agrees

In brief: Usually not

The aorta and/or aneurysms usually can't be seen on a regular x-ray (neither can an appendix) but if the aneurysm is very calcified, one might get a suggestion of an aneurysm.

In brief: Maybe

A ct scan yes; a plain x-ray probably not unless the aorta is calcified.
