In brief: Unclear

Should be examined and x-ray could have pleurisy from irritation or have a new problem in the area from lung, rib, soft tissue.

In brief: Possible

Difficult to know.
If you have underlying lung disease and repeat infections, its possible. Additionally its possible to have an infection that causes inflammation to the chest wall with pleuritic and/or point tenderness. The most important thing you can do is close monitoring by your primary care/family physician.
