I have low sodium on tegretol. Any solutions without going off tegretol?

Depends on level. Depends on how low your serum sodium is on routine testing, if you are slightly low, then you probably don't need to do anything. If your sodium levels are in the 120's, increasing your salt intake may improve your values, but this will be your new diet. There are many new anticonvulsants that treat event related epilepsy that do not produce salt wasting, and have fewer side effects than tegretol.
