For what vitamins, minerals and nutrients should I test myself if I have anxiety and panic attacks? Tried psychiatry meds for 8 years with no results..

Many possibilities. I don't know if & how you can test yourself; i advise working with a holistic physician. The first thing i think those with anxiety & panic is magnesium deficiency- see http://bit.Ly/1dpai09 your symptoms are almost certainly related to lyme; many with lyme have pyrroluria, a metabolic imbalance causing low zinc, b6, mangannese & gla- see http://bit.Ly/18pwqvy niacinamide 500 mg 3-4/day may help.
Integrative Psych. You've listed lyme disease and panic attacks on your information, and you sound frustrated. I don't think your best option is testing yourself for anything -- you need to work with an integrative psychiatrist, or other integrative doc who knows lyme. "trying psychiatry meds" differs from working with such a physician over time. http://tinyurl.com/m9593ua and http://www.Abihm.Org/ therapy too!
Second opinon. In my practice, I have not found that vitamins or minerals are useful in treating anxiety or panic disorder. I recommend getting a thorough examination from your family physician or internist, including a physical exam and laboratory tests to make sure you don't have some other general medical illness. After that, get another thorough psychiatric diagnostic evaluation. That should do it.
Change Doctors. After 8 yrs & no results you should 1st look for different psychiatrist. To answer, supplements that have been shown to be help anxiety are vitamin d 2-4000 iu/d esp. If you live in northern us. Herbs include: cammomile, valarian root, & lemon balm. Also same has been shown to help overall mental health. Research each before use or consult herbalist or md to guide you. Regular massages can help 2.
