In brief: Depends

Dq2 could indicate gluten sensitivity.
Markers associated with celiac are hla dq Alpha 0501, hla dq beta 0201 or 0302.

In brief: Not very helpful

Everybody gets four out of a lottery of several hundred hla antigens (two from each parent).
Some of the autoimmune diseases are more common in people with particular hla antigens. Except for hla-b27 and enthesopathy, i've never seen the point in this kind of testing when more sensitive and specific methods of diagnosis are available. It upsets people ; generates misunderstanding.

In brief: Depends

Dq 2 is associated with celiac disease.
Did she have the specific subtype identified? Testing further the different subtypes and alleles can give an idea of what the risk of celiac disease to develop if ttg antibody is negative tight now. Celiac id from prometheus labs is one such test. They result out your actual subtype, and then give a risk assessment of how likely for celiac's to develop.
