Hep c posititive. Undtectable viral load for eleven years. Why not treat? Can I get sick later?

Hepatitis C. If you have an undetectable viral load for that many years, continued surveillance monitoring is a reasonable strategy. The treatment for hepatitis c is not easy and doesn't need to be attempted for somebody who has no consequences of liver fibrosis or evidence of a viral load. The treatment is also very expensive, difficult to take, with has a success rate that is not very impressive.
Hepatitis C gone. You have cleared the hepatitis c. Why would you need treatment if you have cleared it without treatment? Your hepatitis c is done. You recovered. You are one of the lucky ones.
