In brief: Diabetes

Diabetes also causes excessive thirst, lots of trips to the toilet to pee particularly at night.
Go to the doctor, make an appointment for early in the day, don't eat any breakfast and let him or her know you want your blood glucose level tested and to know your hemoglobin a1c. These are the test needed to establish a diagnosis. Diabetes is a very treatable disease, catch it early.

In brief: There are a few but

Most diseases that cause wt gain do so without increased appetite.
Hypothyroidism adrenal gland come to mind. If hungry more and gaining weight, i look in a different direction. Do you sleep well at night? How is your energy level? What about stress? Family history of type 2 diabetes? It may be that the reward system is activated because your not sleeping well then tired, do private consult.
