On 1mg folic acid & methotrexate 25mg for psoriatic arthritis/psoriasis. Want to increase to 2mg folic acid. Is this ok? Any side effects/disadvantage

Should be fine. Folic acid is a water-soluble b vitamin. Very difficult to overdose as the excess is excreted by the kidneys. You will likely not achieve hypervitaminosis with this dosage unless you have pre-existing kidney disease. Read more...
