In brief: Strain will heal

Glute strain will heal on it's own.
You can improve timing and how you feel with mobilization exercises, rolling, and physical therapy. Labral tear can be treated with and without surgery. Find an experienced orthopaedic surgeon who does a large number of hip scope cases a year. Scoping a hip is not the same as a knee or shoulder.
