In brief: Herpse Simplex

Painful nose blister are commonly cause by the herpes simplex virus, usually type I, the same virus that causes cold sores.
The condition may be more severe & difficult to treat in the immunosuppressed patients. Bacterial infections such as impetigo may cause a similar process. Various form of topical and oral treatments are available.

Weepy painful blisters are infection until proven otherwise, possibly a herpes infection.
In an immunosuppressed individual herpes infections can be very serious. Over the counter cold sore treatments do not usually work for herpes infections anyways.

In brief: Blisters in Nose

One of the common types of blisters that can affect the nose are fever blisters.
Though mouth, lips and the areas around the lips are the most common places to get this type of blisters, they can sometimes appear inside the nose as well. Other causes include staph. Get an rx for Valtrex and Bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) if not contraindicated.

In brief: See your doctor

Depending on why you are immunosuppressed, you these blisters could represent an infection with difficult-to-treat bacteria.
The best course of action may be to get it cultured to identify what needs to be treated, or to use a prescription antibiotic such as mupirocin. If you are immunosuppressed due to a medical condition, you shouldn't try to treat symptoms like this yourself.
