If your shoulder is that unstable you are risking damage to the bone itself which is irreversible.

In brief: May have more damage
You should find an orthopedic surgeon to fully evaluate your shoulder. Many things can happen after a shoulder dislocation and some of them can require surgery.
Mri is often necessary to diagnose injuries and then you and your doctor can decide what is best for you. A shoulder that subluxes easily could be sustaining ongoing injury that may not fully recover.
