The first question is whether or not this gross or microhematuria.
If it is goss hematuria, then it could be the prostate or something else that was undetected during the first evaluation. In addition, it is also worthwhile to have urovysion or fish test done to see if there are cells in the urine with abnormal dna suggesting the possible presence of a bladder cancer.
