Educate yourself. Cervical cancer is an abnormal tissue growth which starts in an area at the outer tip of the uterus called the cervix. It can spread slowly over time. It's related to acquiring certain strains of HPV through sexual contact and usually takes years to progress to cancer. There are many online sources to educate yourself. Regular ob/gyn check-ups and pap smear tests recommended for early detection.
