Not all bleeding from the anus is due to hemorrhoids although this is the most common cause. TO be safe get a proper examination from a colorectal surgeon and or a GI doctor. Do not assume it is from your hemorrhoids.

In brief: Rectal Bleeding
You must be certain that you are dealing with hemorrhoidal bleeding and not some other form of anorectal bleeding.
Bleeding can come from any part of the GI tract from mouth to anus. Hemorrhoidal bleeding can be a cycle of intermittent bleeding, but you must be sure that is what you are dealing with and a physician evaluation is warranted.
