In brief: Period,no.Bleed,yes.

Although women cannot have their period while pregnant, it is possible to have vaginal bleeding during pregnancy.
This can be a normal in early pregnancy due to the the implantation of the egg into the uterus. The bleeding will occur around the same time as the expected cycle and can be mistaken for a period. Any type of vaginal bleeding during pregnancy requires an evaluation.

In brief: No

While you are pregnant you should not be on your period.
However, during pregnancy you can have spotting which can be normal. Large amounts of blood should be reported to your ob/gyn.
