What is debrox?

Ear wax remover. Debrox is the brand name for carbamoyl peroxide, which is an ear drop for softening up ear wax, and may dissolve some of the wax. If a person has his ear canals plugged up with firm ear wax, he can use a few drops, once a day, for 2-3 days prior to his appointment with his doctor. His primary care doctor will then have a much easier time flushing the wax out with water.
Peroxide. The active ingredient in debrox is peroxide, which helps break up wax. You can actually make your own, cheaper version by just diluting hydrogen peroxide 1/2 and 1/2 with distilled or boiled water. If you are using it to clean out wax, usually you use it once or twice a day for a week or two. If you are a frequent producer of wax, then sometimes a little mineral oil in the ear once a week helps.
Ear Wax Removal. Debrox is the #1 branded peroxide eardrop used in america. It is also available in many non-branded peroxide irrigation wax removal kits. Give the drops 3 - 5 day use, if the plugged sensation does't clear, go see your primary healthcare provider for an ear exam.
