In brief: Tremors with panic
As long it was not a seizure, there is probably no danger per se.
Shaking & trembling is common in panic attacks. A well validated treatment 4 panic attacks is exposure therapy, where, w/ therapist's help, u intentionally bring on the physical symptoms of panic, alternating w/ relaxation techniques. Over time you can feel the initial sensations of what would have become a pa but not have one.

If you have a trauma history as well, shaking in panic has been more likely in my experience and should be addressed in therapy if it is an issue.

In brief: Panic attacks
Panic attacks can happen for several reasons, both physical or psychological.
Either way these can be prevented with medication. Please discuss with your pcp.
