Is it normal to have one leg longer than the other?

In brief: More or less, yes

Nobody is really symmetric, from head to toe.
We all have different sized hands and feet. Our faces are more expressive on one side than the other - cover each side in a mirror in turn. Sometimes, though, a leg length discrepancy can cause some back symptoms. This is accommodated by using a shoe lift/insert 1/2 the height of the difference. Then start a program of regular stretching and exercise.

In brief: Maybe; sometimes not

Most people are not perfectly symmetrical, and some people have unequal leg lengths.
A primary care doctor or an orthopedic doctor can measure the legs, and also examine the hips, pelvis, and spine to see if there is anything to worry about. In order to have a good exam, the patient will need to be almost completely undressed so that the whole spine/hips/legs can been viewed at the same time.
