In brief: No

Are you getting your medical information from friends or the internet? If so, stop listening to or reading those sources of misinformation and blatant lies? Do you really think that something like aspartame would still be on the market if that were true.
You're too old to fall for that stuff! do you still believe in the tooth fairy?

I would say that believing aspartame would not be on the market if it was dangerous is like believing in the tooth fairy! You don't believe that a multi-billion dollar industry led by insiders like Donald Rumsfield can influence the FDA? A review of 90 independent studies in the peer-reviewed medical literature found 92% of these found significant problems associated with aspartame, including brain tumors, seizures, headaches, memory loss & obesity. Sorry, we agree to disagree. I put more faith in science than in blogs.

In brief: It's true

Unfortunately it's true.
It never should have been approved in the first place. There is no good reason to drink it; it appears to cause obesity & many other problems.Dozens of research studies prove it's very hazardous.
