I agree that support stockings are more comfortable for most patients, for daily use during prolonged sitting and standing. There are some patients with severe arthritis or back problems, etc who may benefit from in elastic devices such as CircAid, juxtalite, short stretch wraps, etc. please see a phlebologist: wwww.phlebolgy.org or Medi web site who just procured circaid
