I take trileptol and topomax for epilepsy. Are there vitamin supplements I should take w these meds? I don't know what issues they cause.

In brief: NO
With anticonvulsants calcium supplements are sometimes prescribed .
Vitamins are not necessary or beneficial.

In brief: Calcium, folic acid
Generally, one should take calcium and vitamin d, and folic acid, when on anti-seizure medications.
Trileptal can cause low sodium, and topamax (topiramate) can cause kidney stones; it is important to drink plenty of fluids, and add some salt, when exercising in the heat.

One may want to avoid Vitamin C. Signs of hyponatremia or low sodium would be confusion, imbalance, and decline in memory/concentration.
