What is the best way to treat minor meniscus rupture?

Arthroscopy. Arthroscopic menisectomy partial for mechanical locking and effusions few are repairable.
Strengthening. A minor meniscus rupture or tear does not always require surgery. Many will do well with strengthening of the muscles around the knee, range of motion exercises, ice and anti-inflammatory medications to keep swelling down, and avoidance of any jumping-twisting activities.
