In brief: Check with your MD

Assuming you received a steroid injection, it is common to have increased pain for a few days after the injection before the steroid"kicks in".
That being said, let your doctor know about your worsening pain to check for other causes, i.E infection.

In brief: Possibly normal

For a calcaneal tendon injury the guiding principle is function.
If the tendon is intact, one wants to avoid surgery and proceed with conservative measures.
