Diagnosed with pulled tendon in heel area of foot. Doc gave me shot & wrapped foot up. I'm in worse pain, can't bear weight. Is it normal? Apt was today

Check with your MD. Assuming you received a steroid injection, it is common to have increased pain for a few days after the injection before the steroid"kicks in". That being said, let your doctor know about your worsening pain to check for other causes, i.E infection.
Possibly normal. For a calcaneal tendon injury the guiding principle is function. If the tendon is intact, one wants to avoid surgery and proceed with conservative measures.
