Diets emphasize cutting calories and eating balance but I only intake between 900 to 1000 a day. Should I intake more or/& just change food choices?

Need more info. What is your height and weight? How much physical activity do you engage in? In any case it is good to eat a mixed diet rich in fresh vegetables and fruit, whole grains, nuts; low in saturated fats, no tobacco, no more than one drink a day and exercise about 30 minutes each day and maintain a healthy weight.
