In brief: May be normal

Bubbles in the urine may be a normal finding as the kidneys with the forceful flow of urine produces bubbles.
Sometimes it may be an indication of protein loss in the urine , urinary infection or simply dehydration.Consistency of the bubbles ( foamy or not, persistence of bubbles) will help make the difference. The answer is always in checking urine analysis.

In brief: Protein?

Protein in the urine looks "frothy, " or like there are white bubbles.

In brief: Possibly protein

"bubbles" in the urine may not mean anything at all, but it can also mean there is excess protein there.
Protein does not belong in the urine, and suggests the kidney is being damaged in some way. A simple urine test to identify protein, and, if present, measure the amount, will quickly reveal if there is a problem.

Orthoststic proteinuria, ie protein in urine during the day when up & about can be normal. Need to have first am urine checked, after emptying bladder 2 hours after retiring night before, so you have a pure recumbent urine specimen if day urinalysis positive for protein. That should be negative for protein.
