In brief: See a doctor

There are many causes for a woman to stop having her periods, besides pregnancy, such as pcos, anorexia, or early menopause.
You should consider visiting a doctor for a full history and physical to see what could be causing it.

In brief: No, not necessarily

There are many reasons to not have a period.
Taking certain medications can inhibit your cycles (notably birth control pills). Stress, illness, severe weight loss, tumor of the pituitary, etc, etc can affect your menstrual cycle. The most common cause in young women is pregnancy. I would seek care from an obgyn, get a blood pregnancy test and other tests.
