In brief: ? PCOS ?

If you mean pcos not pcod -- pcos may be present in up to 30% of women.
It is an Insulin resistant state that is characterized by weight gain, irregular or absent periods, hair growth, infertility and predisposition to diabetes. Check w/your gyn. Diet, exercise and weight loss will help, as will metformin which can reduce Insulin resistance and regularize menses and even fertility.
