In brief: Sweaty Palms
This sounds like a condition known as hyperhidrosis (increased sweating).
It can affect the palms, soles of the feet, underarms, etc. And is due to hyperactive sweat glands usually in response to various stimuli such as emotion. The palmar type can also be inherited. Your dermatologist can offer treatments if this is the cause. Thanks.

In brief: CLAMMY HANDS
Clammy hands is also known as sweaty palms.
No one knows exactly why this occurs but we do know that anxiety, stress, & low blood sugar often provoke it. If it's been persistent for a long time, do see your doctor. There are a few treatments available for this annoying symptom. The latest one is Botox injections in the palms (ouch!). Smoking can also aggravate it. Good luck.
