Baker cyst is a fluid filled process located behind the knee.
In adults it is often the consequences of arthritis or inflammed meniscal. It is diagnosed by physical exam as well as doppler ultrasound. It can rupture and cause leg swelling and can present similarly as an episode of phlebitus or as a blood clot. Referral to ortho if no response to nsaids.
