3 doctors agree
In brief: Gnawing pain/None
Interestingly, one can have a severe gnawing pain in the middle and upper stomach and some have no symptoms at all.
Usually painful and will go away at times with use of antacids, Zantac (ranitidine) type drugs, Prilosec type drugs and food. If you are concerned about an ulcer, please see your pcp or GI doctor. There are tests to help find out and procedures to help diagnosis and heal. Cancer can cause it!
