Not likely. Meningitis symptoms best evaluated by physician as symptoms can progress rapidly and an agent that causes meningitis may require a definitive treatment. Many common viruses can cause "aseptic" meningitis but early symptoms of a bad meningitis are similar to those not so severe.
Which pain reliever medications can be given via IV for headache in viral meningitis case? Orally taken tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen not helping much.
Migraine 5 days in a row? ETMC gave me a shot on 2 separate occasions Demerol & Fenergan. Sent home with Tylenol (acetaminophen) 3.Why hasn't it gone away? Menengitis?
