In brief: Up to you

You can try to do it naturally, use intravenous narcotics, or get an epidural.

In brief: Pain during labor

Iv pain meds wont take away the pain completely, can make you dizzy, nauseated, sleepy.
Epidural can give complete pain block with you being alert and able to participate during labor. No pain controll is an option yet you need to be brave. Without pain you can actually enjoy delivery better and participate in the laboring process.
