Sharp stabbing pain deep in vagina. Happens always right before period and stops after period starts. Sometimes happens randomly on BC (for anemia). Never been sexually active. Ultrasound of uterus and ovaries normal. Pelvic exam too painful to do?

In brief: Pelvic pain

Vaginismus (vaginal spasm)? Endometriosis (missed on ultrasound)? Mittelschmerz (ovulation pain)? Discuss with the doctor who you have apparently been seeing, who ordered the ultrasound.
If uncertain or not confident in her advice, get a second opinion. It should be pretty easy to come up with a clear answer. Good luck!
