Dad had GBM near speech center of 2cm & removed. During radio he started to forget things like fruit names... is it normal?

While word finding difficulty is not normal, it is certainly a possible/likely side effect from the radiation (and/or surgery) in your father's case, given the location of the surgery and radiation of the GBM. Cognitive/speech rehab may help. .
