I had secondary amenorrhea w cystic acne worsened by yaz->weight gain, now postpartum 1 mo, would the Mirena be a bad choice for someone like me?

In brief: Good choice

Mirena would provide excellent birth control.
It also has a popular side effect of stopping or at least minimizing menstrual bleeding. It is not likely to help (or hurt) cystic acne. A dermatologist could help provide treatment options for the acne.
