Is doxycycline used to treat Gonorrhea? Or is the bacteria resistant to this medication. I’ve read where it is, and where it’s not. Just curious.

In brief: Gonorrhea

Gonorrhea may be treated with several types of antibiotics, among which is doxycycline.
If signs/symptoms do not lessen, get a culture repeated. Your physician may try another antibiotic.
