Is zinc sulfate a good form of zinc to take and would 10mg of zinc daily cause copper deficiency?

In brief: OK,not best,unlikely

ZInc sulfate is an OK form of zinc to take but other forms are better absorbed, esp.
zinc picolinate or orotate.
While high amounts of zinc can cause copper deficiency a dose of 10mg is unlikely to. However, to err on the side of caution consider a supplement that also has copper, in a ratio of 10-15 parts zinc to 1 part copper.
