In brief: Yes
Although their proximity is close, a vaginal yeast infection and a urinary tract infection are two separate infections and can occur simultaneously.

In brief: Possibly sex
Recurrent yeast infections can occur from sex with an untreated uncircumcised partner, have partner tested.
Also utis if u don't urinate after sex. Recurrent yeast infections can be proven by repeated positive cultures and may require long term (6 months) treatment. Avoid scented/dyed soaps & personal hygiene products. Etc. Shower, don't bathe. No synthetic underwear. Consult your gyn dr.
