Can an early cystic fibrosis test rule out the possibility of a late in life diagnosis?

In brief: Depends on test

Depending on the original test that was performed, it is unlikely that a diagnosis of CF will be made later in life.
Most of the testing that is done today is highly accurate. If you are referring to yourself, at age 31, if the diagnosis of CF has not yet been made, and you have been relatively healthy all of your life, i would say it is unlikely you have it.
