Bloating usually implies "filled with air" which i doubt is the case.
Swelling of hands is usually due to fluid buildup which can have a myriad of causes, from hormonal to dietary to activity level, etc. In many cases it's a normal response to activity such as hiking in which case i wouldn't worry too much about it. Watch your sodium intake and if you're bothered by other symptoms, see a doctor.
