I have a painless grape sized rubbery mass 2-3” above my belly button. If it’s a hernia what what are risks/complications of surgery?

Besides the. usual (RARE) complications of anesthesia ( this may or may not require general anesthesia to obtain the abdominal muscle relaxation the hernia repair will require), infection, failure of wound closure, and recurrence are the major complication, YOUR SURGEON should tell you the whole "list" of possible but VERY UNLIKELY events.
Hope this helps.....Healthy New Year
