What's considered the best way to lower you cholesterol level naturally, and is the over-the-counter cholest-off any good?

Low fat diet. Low fat/ low chol diet may lower cholesterol but about 80% of the body's chol is made not ingested. Red rice yeast is natural, statin like and lowers cholesterol but since it is a "dietary supplement" it is not well controlled. Cholest-off is made from plant stanols and sterols and are unlikely to have dramatic cholesterol lowering effects.
