For the last couple of weeks I've been itching all over. The itching comes and goes. There is no visible rash accept that of my scratching. I've tried anti-fungal creams as well allergy medication, but nothing works. What could be causing this?

In brief: Doctor can examine

If itching is just from sensitive skin or dry skin, such as eczema, then one can use an over-the-counter cream such as CeraVe, Cetaphil, or Eucerin.
Adding hydrocortisone cream for 1 week will help. Taking OTC antihistamines like Claritin (loratadine) or Zyrtec helps too. Excess itching may also be due to an internal disorder, such as liver problems or intestinal parasites. One's doctor can help.
