As a general pediatrician, I see Keppra commonly used for seizures in young child and I have not seen problems.
However, it should be prescribed by a pediatric neurologist and the baby should follow-up with the pediatric neurologist. If the child has a seizure while on the Keppra, you should contact the pediatric neurologist for possible dosage adjustment.
