Good day My 16 month old grandson is screaming non-stop. Seems like a 'tantrum', but he stated again as soon as he lifted his head from his nap. Could there be a medical reason for this?

In brief: Screaming child

Yes, there certainly could be a medical reason for his screaming.
Please take him to the doctor. It could be something as simple as needing more formula or feeding, or many other possibilities. If all is ok, please do as directed by the doc. Peace and good health.
