I have been on the Yaz contraceptive pill for 5 years, and am hoping to stop using it and have a copper iud implanted. Would you advise this?

Your preference. This would depend entirely on your personal preference ,your future plans, your health. This decision would be totally up to you after consultation with your doctor/gynae.Cannot advise for or against.WE do not know why you want to change so cant advise.
Good luck.
Hard to say. Your BC plan is really one that is best decided in collaboration with the doc who knows your history, goals for BC, exam. A copper IUD does have the benefit of being hormone free, lasting a long time & not requiring much maintenance. It is uncomfortable to put in & pricey, but it is also very reliable & a good product. Talk with your doc.
