How do you treat labile hypertension? I have dramatic increases in blood pressure from panic attacks and shallow breathing. Happens often. Also have low heart rate at times. Would a diuretic be effective?

Unlikely. given your description, you need a cardiologist input, before labeling your case as labile hypertension, rather paroxysmal hypertension, as it is related to your emotions. Treating either condition requires control of anxiety, and blood pressure, probably with beta blockers, but might not be in your case, as you get slow heart rate at times, at any rate, see a cardiologist, wish you well.
